In addition, impact of Anastrozole on overall survival has also been proven. Results from a study published in the International Journal of Cancer showed anastrozole improves overall survival by around 20% (HR=1.6) compared to megestrol-acetate alone, for postmenopausal women with metastatic breast cancer.
Anastrozole can be used both for breast cancer treatment and PCT, showing its versatility to treat hormone related conditions.
